Frequently asked questions
The questions the congress office receives most about submitting.
This translation has not yet been reviewed by a native speaker. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
Submitting
Can I save and continue later? Yes. The wizard saves each step as you move forward.
Can I edit a submission after sending it? Yes, while the call is still open.
Can I submit without attaching the document? Yes. You can submit and add the file later, within the deadline.
Which formats are accepted? Word (.doc and .docx) and PDF. The file content is checked, not its extension: renaming will not work. Documents with macros are rejected.
Authorship
How many submissions can I sign? Two at most. The platform checks this when authors are added.
I added a co-author and it says “not confirmed”. That is correct: they receive a notice to accept being listed. Being listed on a publication without knowing is a common complaint at congresses.
Decisions
When will I know if it is accepted? On the notification date set in the first circular.
Can I choose oral or poster? You may state a preference, but the decision rests with the Scientific Committee.
Do I need to be registered to submit? Not to submit. For accepted work to be presented and published, all listed authors must be registered.
